Find out about  My favorite tools used for blogging and podcasting.

I’m sure you may be deciding which smart tools or resources to use consistently for your blogs or podcast episodes.

If you answered yes, you read my mind because I  created this blog post to share  My favorite smart tools used for blogging and podcasts just for you.

Additionally, these tools can be used for teaching, business, and planning events.

Believe me, this was a  struggle for me when I first started blogging and creating my podcasts.

There was no specific tool to use for scheduling my blogs, a course to guide me, writing, or image software that I could use consistently that I was aware of. Research, trial, and error is how it works.

I find myself still struggling a bit now, but there has been a lot of growth.

Be assured that after reading this,  you will find something on this list that will lead to a substantial improvement in your life.

Favorite tools I use for blogging and podcasting starts with

1.  Grammarly ( https://www.grammarly.com)

While there are several writing tools out there, I chose Grammarly.

Why did I choose Grammarly you may ask? Well, I chose it because it’s user-friendly, has a free

( believe me, the free version is great), and a paid version and helps me to write like an expert.

Furthermore, my writing is clearer and easily understood to the reader. You still have to proofread for yourself as well.

Grammarly can do the same for you. Get started now!

2. Canva (www.canva.com) is an image creating software that has a free and paid version. I had the free version, then bought the paid one.

There are other features that Canva has like creating flyers, logos, images for Instagram, banners, blog images, and has good customer service that can benefit you too.

For instance, I can create images, logos, banners, and titles all in one place.

Canva can be a game-changer for you as well. It is my number one of my favorite smart tools used for blogging and podcasting.

So, sign up for Canva today, start learning and see how it will transform your business.

3. Trello ( https://trello.com/)

I first learned about Trello from a blog I read from Ruth Soukup before I became a blogger.

Trello is a scheduling software like a calendar, but more advanced, digital and can be used individually or use as a team to schedule your blogs, podcasts, to-do list, or full-fill other business needs.

As it relates to teams- multiple members who have been given permission can be working on the business idea at the same time. Isn’t that cool?

For instance, it allows you to create Boards, and then you can create a list under that board of all the things ( to-do-list) that you want to accomplish. There are choices for due dates for each item, color-coded, etc.

Trello has a free and paid version. The free version provides a lot of flexibility.

Another scheduling software is  ARSANA, you can take a look at this one too, but I haven’t tried it.

4. Audacity ( https://www.audacityteam.com/)

Audacity is a free editing software similar to Garageband that you can use to edit things like podcasts.

Following podcasting expert- Pat Flynn, enabled me to learn about this tool. I took his free Podcasting course in which he taught you how to use Audacity.

This tool is user-friendly, free, and easily downloadable to your computer. It has all the essential functions like any other podcast software.

The Audacity website also gives you a lot of instructions on how to use the software.

It is surprising to see that my local library offers free Audacity classes every few months too. Check your local library offerings if you’re interested in additional training for this software.

5.Books

Admittedly, I am an avid reader, or what you call a bookworm. I was like this from a child and look forward to doing this for the rest of my life. I can spend hours in the library. Reading  3-4 books per month is normal for me and I hope to increase it.

Nowadays, you don’t have to be tied down at a library. Books are now available electronically on your smartphone, laptop, etc.

Even though  I am an avid reader, I am intentional about the types of books I choose to read. Reading the right books opens your imagination to dream bigger. It also enables you to get ideas for your blog, podcast, and increase your vocabulary.

Here are the types of books  I read which centers on personal and professional development, mindset, ancient history, success, and nutrition.

6.Self- Development Courses is one of the favorite things to blog and podcast about.

You are not going to get far in your life or be successful if you don’t invest in yourself. I keep a wall art that says,

“Invest in Yourself” as a reminder to myself.

This post would be long if I was to tell you everything that I have learned from investing in paid and free courses.

However, I want to say that enrolling in courses or being part of groups has widened my knowledge in my personal and professional life.

You can enroll in courses like Elite Blog Academy ( https://eliteblogacademy.com/),

Health Media Academy ( https://healthmediaacademy.com/), and Smart Passive Income

Additionally, you can access podcasts, beauty, and self-development YouTube channels, speech classes, Toastmasters ( for public speaking and leadership), free or Private Facebook groups, and Instagram that relate to your niche.

Enrolling in these courses allows you to learn from the mistakes of others and be successful if you implement the steps they share.  Of course, you will still make mistakes of your own.

Please note that you don’t have to enroll in every course or pay if you don’t have the money yet. Start with what you have and then improve when you get more money, but please enroll in something that will improve your life and business.

 7.Music

Listening to music brings a certain calm, motivation, and relaxation. This enables you to get more ideas when writer’s block or imposter syndrome sets in.

Even more exciting, is that music allows you to dance/exercise which increases your circulation and in turn increases your dopamine levels and increases productivity.

Research has shown that instrumental music is a better medium for increasing productivity than other genres of music.

To recap, the smart tools that are listed here such as, Grammarly, Trello, Canva, books, courses, and, music are a good combination to change the trajectory of your business.

Honesty, these tools allow me to disseminate my information to more people than I can imagine.

If you’ve just started blogging and/or podcasting, these tools are beneficial for your personal and professional growth.
